Red Dead Redemption 2 Faces A Delay
We'll be waiting a little while longer for the highly anticipated sequel.
The highly anticipated sequel to Red Dead Redemption is now slated for a Spring 2018 release, announced Rockstar yesterday on Twitter. The game was originally going to be released in autumn this year, however Rockstar said this on their official website:
"This outlaw epic set across the bast and unforgiving American heartland will be the first Rockstar game created from the ground up for the latest generation of console hardware, and some extra time is necessary to ensure that we can deliver the best experience possible for fans". "We are very sorry for any disappointment this delay causes, but we are firm believers in delivering a game only when it is ready. We are really excited to bring you more details about this game this summer". To soften the blow a little, Rockstar shared a few images that I shall put on display for you below.
Take Two, Rockstar's parent company, is also feeling the effects from RDR2's delay. After finishing off the day with $69.04 (near an all time high), after hours trading, the company's stock has dropped to $62.56 - a fair drop.
